Is 18 too late for me to get involved in competitive lacrosse?

I am 18 and I’ve recently grown interested in the sport of lacrosse. I wanted to know whether 18 is too late to start playing lacrosse competitively. By competitively I mean joining a local club and maybe when I enroll into college (It’s a Division 3 college) continue playing in that college’s club as a walk-on.

It’s def. not to old to start playing. Learn the rules, learn the game, learn how to handle the ball and the stick. You should be able to find a local club team. As for playing DIII it really depends on the school and the lacrosse program. If the school has a really strong lax program it will be hard but if they dont then maybe. It all depends on how quickly you pick up the game… and how fast you are.
